Welcome everyone to Kaya’s New Flower Girl Blog! This is where we will share flower girl tips, bridal trends, our upcoming events, and you will also be able to ask us questions as well as share ideas with each other. Since working in the industry over the years, we have collected great ideas about all things flower girl related and beyond. Does the bride pay for the girl’s dress – or should the mother? How old should a flower girl be? How do I pick out a style? One of our favorite parts is helping you match the little girl with the bridal party and coming up with the perfect combination of dress color, organza, and bloom in the back.
While we are known for our flower girl dresses, Kaya is also perfect for First Communion dresses. The tradition is to wear white, but lots of our mothers go with our Ivory silk as well, it is just a touch off white, very subtle. We have many great styles for this special day and love helping moms out with different fabrics and shoes and veils… One of our most popular dress styles is the “Chandra”– you can find it in the “Custom” section.
We would love to hear from you! Are you planning a wedding or a part of one and need some help with the girls’ dresses? By the way, check out our new “Fairy” section in the “Collections” page and let us know your thoughts!
